ΗΟΝΕΥ PIE WITH FRESH MIZITHRA
- 1 - 1/2 kg fresh mizithra or cream cheese
- 1 - 1/2 cup Greek honey ΑΤΤΙΚΗ
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 pinch mastic
- orange or lemon zest
- 2 tablespoon fine semolina MISKO
- some cinnamon
Crush the mizithra in a bowl with a knife until it melts. Add the honey ΑΤΤΙΚΗ, the sugar, the eggs, the mastic, the zest and stir them very well with the spoon. Add the fine semolina while you are stirring. Butter a little pan or an ovenproof dish. Empty the mixture and spread the surface with the opposite of the spoon.
Bake at 180°C for 40΄ until it turns brown. As soon as you remove it from the oven, drizzle it with honey ΑΤΤΙΚΗ and sprinkle with cinnamon. Let it cool off and cut the desert in pieces.
