CRISPY FILO FETA CHEESE SAGANAKI WITH HONEY
- 4 slices feta cheese «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ»
- 4 sheets of traditional filo pastry ALFA
- 1 egg white
- black sesame
- 4 tablespoons Greek honey ΚΣ «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ»
- excellent virgin olive oil ALTIS / SOLON / ELANTHI
Bread the feta cheese «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ» in some flour until it absorbs the liquids. Place the traditional Alfa filo pastry on the kitchen counter.
Spread the filo pastry with olive oil. Fold it in half, place the feta cheese and spread it with the egg white on the edges.
Make it a package and do the same procedure with all the rest. Place them on a pan sprinkled with flour and cover it with a membrane. Freeze it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Heat the olive oil in a medium to high heat and fry the packages for 2'-3' each side with the union face down, until golden.
Pat them dry with paper towels. Spatter them with Greek honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ» while they are warm and sprinkle with toasted sesame and black sesame.
